The Missing Styles CD

I posted some images in the Village Gallery, on which I used some effects. I was asked what.

The effects are from Jodi Frye's Photoshop Elements: The Missing Styles CD. Styles galore--clear bevels, colored drop shadows, frames, photo tints, etc, etc.--too numerous to mention all here.

I came across the source in some old thread. I, then, e-mailed her, got the necessary info, and purchased it.

I just love it! Makes me feel like an artist! And I have used only a few styles so far: too many choices, too little time, to few images.

as you say, Jodi's styles are brilliant but not for PE 6. Jodi isn't doing them for 6 which is why I have kept PE 5 on my computer.

Kev, thanks for the tip. I'll keep PE4 on my pc, even if I upgrade it in fall, as I'm planning to do.

Sepiana, I'm glad you are enjoying the disc. Your gallery is lovely. If you want to upgrade then try to find Elements 5 ( a nice new sealed version)...not only is it my favorite v ;) but the styles disc can be added without too much effort.

I had Jodi's files on PSE4 but lost them when I upgraded to PSE6. I still have the software but 6 will not accept them. Any plans for updating them for PSE6 on an Apple?

I purchased the cd directly from Jodi. Just send an e-mail to her. Let her know which PE version you have and the operating system (Windows XP, Vista, etc.) and she'll provide you with all the info you need: disc contents, installation instructions, price, shipping cost, etc.

Kev, that's nice ! However that Frame with Background is not on ' The Missing Styles ' disc but on ' Jodi's Album Supplies ' for Elements 5. :)

The Missing Styles disc is not available for Elements 6. If you are running Elements versions 1 through 5 then you are swimming in the right direction with it.

Kev, hey no worries...just wanted to make it clear that this option is not available with 'The Missing Styles' disc...didn't want anyone to be disappointed in their purchase. You've always been one to use my discs in a great way ...keep it up !! :)

Here are some examples of photo frames and photo tints. The 1st, 3rd, and 4th images are old 35mm, scanned and brought back to life.
