Hi everyone,

After trying since last Friday, I finally succeeded in updating MY PET Gallery--for some reason, I kept getting these warnings and error messages.

Simply Rose - taken with my Canon A720 IS on macro setting (haven't bought a macro lens for my Rebel XT yet); used black poster paper for the background (read about this in one of Scott Kelby's books).

Rocky - 35-mm scanned image; used one of the photo tints in Jodi Frye's The Missing Styles CD.

Criticism is welcome and encouraged. Thanks in advance.

Kev, Thanks for the comment. You're very kind. Indeed, I'm happy to be back in my gallery. I have no idea why I couldn't upload an image--maybe it had to do with the new server.

Thanks Val and Deborah. Your comments encourage me to keep improving my skills. I was lucky to get that shot before the deer had a taste of that rose. Those little devils! They believe my flower beds are their private buffet!
