Curves with PSE4?

I've been holding off on PSE4 waiting to see what "extra" tools would become available. I see that you can now get a curves tool that will do color and tone corrections. Sounds promising and I'm tempted to give it a try for $29.99 (it supposedly also works in PSE3). Has anyone tried it yet :?:

Being a Mac user I don't have a need for it ... but I'm not sure that I think its worth it ...
