I want to thank Aussie Nan (Toni) for tagging me. It is getting harder & harder to decide. There are too many good ones to choose from.

She has some awesome layouts this week. Please check in her gallery & look at each one. I chose this one for the simplicity & Bob Dylan’s quote. I think we can all relate to the journaling

Fronds 2 (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=5041&postid=6090#post6090/) gez
I love the detail in this one especially how the light is coming through the curl.

Dragonfly 2 (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=5092&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=2/) dsfisher421
There is so much clarity in this macro. Nice details & colors. Just look at the reflection in it’s eye. Deb is that you?

Water Lily Cutout (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=5128&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=2/) ljameso1
I am so glad she tried my Cut-out layered tut. She did a nice job in selecting all of the Lily parts. This can be time consuming & this one would make a nice flower poster.

Dandy Lion (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=5140&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=10/) Mack
He has been working with the Fractalius filter & I think he has perfected it with this Dandy Lion. It gave it a soft & feathery feel to it.

Damselfly Art (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=5048&postid=6119#post6119/) bamagirl
Damselfly or Dragonfly…it doesn’t matter. This is another nice macro with details & color. The background & edging really add to the whole picture.

My IOW choice:
Quiet Lucidity (http://www.elementsvillage.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=5178&catid=newimages&cutoffdate=2/) aggsys
I think this photo speaks for itself. When I saw this one I knew it was the one I wanted as IOW.

Wow, thanks Christell!
Haven't had much time to indulge in this fun as much as I would like however this dragonfly has really been hanging around the pond.
Congrats to all and Quiet Lucidity is wonderful!

So many images that are capable of being IOW! Hard to narrow it down, isn't it? Congratulations on the choices and to those who make the gallery special.

I'm glad everyone likes the choices.

Craig,
Just what new camera did you buy to take shots like these? The other one I loved too. Then had to pick out of the two as IOW. Can't wait to see more from your new camera.

I purchased a Sony Alpha 200 so it is not that special of a camera but I am very lucky to have a wonderful subject matter near my home. I used HDR to help pull out the details and color ranges of the photos. This is a new technique that I just started a few days ago and it really pulls out the contrasts and details of a photograph. Silent Lucidity is a better example of this technique due to the detail in the foreground of the pier contrasting with the background colors of the sky. I look forward to working on this new technique. Thanks

Christell, thanks for including my work. Your choices are outstanding images. I'm glad I didn't have to make the choices, too many worthy inages. Congrats to the selectees (is that a word). Competition here is fierce, too many good shooters. I think I'm gonna look for a smaller pond. LOL

Thanks to those who have left me feedback, I can't get my hat on.
