Downloads for Photoshop Elements

Can the downloads for Photoshop Elements posted on this site be loaded into PSE3? The tutorial gives information for PSE2. Are they for Macs as well as Windows PCs? I am referring to Layer Styles, Patterns, and Brush Sets in the Download Area.

There should be no problems using the downloads with PSE3 just download them and install as the tutorial shows you. The installation is the same for PSE3 and PSE 2 and they will work in either Windows or Mac.

I had a look at the downloads earlier and there are some nice ones ... if you do have any problems then just ask for help :)

This forum is really good. I had the same question re: the downloads for PSE2 and viewing the forum I see the question had already been asked and answered. :D

I am finally attempting the downloads and have completed loading the layer styles as instructed with no problem, however, the patterns and brush set haven't been so simple. First of all, where do the brush sets get loaded? By that I mean do they go to the files under shapes or under brushes? I also have the same question for the pattern downloads.

Save the pattern downloads into the folder that contains the PE3 default patterns i.e.

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 3.0\Presets

The patterns are zip files, so extract them to the same folder. You then call then up by selecting Load Patterns when working with the Patterns selection menu. This will take you to the PE3 patterns folder and you can then choose which pattern to load into PE3.
