The Stationary & Layout button and window, located inside the Send E-mail
Window is missing from my copy of the software. Is this a preliminary copy of the Photoshop 3 software, or did something just not load properly. I have uninstalled and re-installed a couple times....same results, .....any ideas?

Ralph, are you in the Organizer? If so, either Share>E-Mail or Ctrl-Shift-E should take you to the Attach E-Mail screen where the Stationery and Layouts button resides. Can you get to that screen and is the button there?
Also, if you're in Editor, with an image that you want to send open, File>Send E-Mail will get you to the same screen. BUT....an image has to be open.

The way you described is exactly the way I have been doing it. The Staionary & Layout section is just not there.
I wish I could do a cut/paste of the window I am looking at. It will allow me to do all the e-mail funtions, but I would like to be able to do all the borders, frames, etc that the missing section would allow. I have the Scott Kelby book, with it's CD that also shows how to get to that section. I have followed it exactly. That section is just not in my copy of the program, or if it is I'm sure not seeing it.
I even tried calling the Adobe Help line, and the first thing they want is a credit card number before they will even send you over to talk to a tecnician.
Any further ideas

Ralph, if you can create a screen print (shift-PrtScrn) and paste it in a new canvas in Elements, you could upload it to www.pixentral.com, then come back here with the address that pixentral assigns to it. Then maybe we could see what you're seeing.

Ralph, have you gone through the reset preferences routine? Exit Elements, then restart it while holding down the Alt, Shift and Ctrl keys (you have to be quick to make this work). Then you should get a pop-up window asking if you want to delete the Adobe Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Then go back to to see whether the problem has been solved.

Keriann, it's super convenient, especially with pixentral out there. Lots of problems have been diagnosed and solved quickly because of that!

Thanks for all the assistance. I have tried the reset you suggested with no help for the problem.
I also uploaded a copy of the screen showing the problem to pixentral so you can take a look at it to see what I am seeing. I welcome any other suggestions.
Thanks again,
Ralph

Ralph, got it!! AHA! Note that you have the Format box set as Simple Slide Show (PDF). If you change that to PhotoMail (HTML), you'll get the selection of Stationery and Layouts in place of the Customize button. That oughta fix you up.
Just love those screen shots....

Chuck,
The pulldown window only gives me the option of Simple Slide Show (PDF)
or Individual Attachments...........that's all it says. Where else could I turn on the HTML?

I uploaded a view of the complete pulldown list:

What do you think.............I tried putting in a call to Adobe, tech support line......what a run around that was.

Ralph, is your e-mail client set up to accept HTML?

Ralph: With the Organizer open, go into Edit>Preferences>E-Mail. If you have in your E-Mail client Save to Hard Disk and Attach Files Yourself, you'll definitely get the screen you're seeing when you try to send. If you have an e-mail client such as Outlook Express, it should be a dropdown in the box or you can browse for it.

Chuck,
You are looking like a Genius..........it worked.
First of all, like I said, I am using Incredimail, which is a POP3 account and it uses the Outlook Express on my system. Outlook express did not have the HTML turned on.........so I fixed that, but it still didn't work until you directed me to the changes in the preference. I selected the Outlook, and then went to the window and changed to HTML...............Success at last.
Thans for the help,
Ralph

Ralph, we just had to beat the program into submission so it would give up its secrets. Hope the rest of the process works for you!

Thank you so much for your help, you led me, step by step, and corrected the problem.
It seems that the Incredimail program, must go hand in hand with Outlook, so once I enabled Outlook to accept HTML, then the option was there in the pull-down. Onece I was able to select the HTML, then the Stationary & Layouts button appeared.
Everything is working Great,
Thanks again,
