Why, thank you Val. I had spare time, and a variety of things on the back burner for 'one day'...........that 'one day' came! I enjoyed the coin most of all, and can't wait to try it on photos of my grandies! Must confess to doing it in CS3 though. I'm sure there's a work around for Elements, there usually is.

Toni,
that coin is absolutely perfect. Is there a tutorial for this anywhere? I've tried coins in the past, but never achieved anything like this.

Val - thanks for your comment. And Grandpa did take that photo; however, I suspect he may have used his copy of "How to Cheat in Daguerreotype VI" to doctor it up a bit! ;)

Note to Bill: I like your images but.... um..... who is "Captain Spaulding?" :o

Everyone has really done a terrific job this week. I am humbled!

Hi Rita,

here (http://www.planetphotoshop.com/custom-coins.html) is the tut for the coin. I did it in CS3 as that is what I have on my system at work. I haven't tried it in elements yet....

Hosting this challenge has been great fun for me (after I got over being nervous!!). Everyone has posted such incredible images. The creativity continues to amaze me. When I was picking out photos for this challenge I never realized I would feel so excited seeing my photos taking different forms. Thanks so much to everyone for participating and making this a success.

Seachelle ~ Your sunset on Grandpa's bridge is fabulous. Your daisies are outstanding. I hope your husband enjoyed his birthday and the fact that you gave up the computer!!

Bill ~ The farm has a lot of class without the silos. I like it that way. I love your picture hanging next to the Marx Brothers. It adds a lot to whole picture.

Val ~ The Marx Brothers really get around. They found their way to the farm (which is really far away from their home). All those filters and PSE surprises made the daisies into a wonderful picture.

Nan ~ I'm sure Corey Barker would be pleased with the fun picture you made with the tut. Your image of the barn is very intriguing. I really like your very clever coin idea for the toll bridge.

Tony ~ Your images of the barn are so interesting. You did a great job.

Kim ~ Your Grandpa's photo of the bridge looks so similar to the one I took they could almost be the same!!

Christell ~ I love your artsy picture of the very popular barn.

Cape ~ Your Flower Power creation is a work of art. I really like it.

Thank you everyone for playing along this week. Let's see who can come up with some more new ideas!!

Toni,
thanks for the link. I just watched it, but I'll have to watch again and make some notes before I try to make a birthday card for a friend from it. I'm using CS2 and I think it would be pretty difficult to adapt it to
Elements.

Steven.... very ingenious take! I'll never look at silos in quite the same way ever again! :o

P.S. Freud would have had a field day with your Id!

Steven ~ I must have missed Dr. Freud the day I took the picture. The barn is a couple of miles from my house. I'll have to check to see if he is my new neighbor up the street!!

Hosting this challenge has been great fun. Thank you everyone for participating.
