Helen usually keeps in touch with her. I'll pm and ask if she has heard anything lately...

Good Morning All,

I just checked my emails from Shari. I last heard from her on May 16th. She was feeling pretty good that day, talked about getting back to the gym. She still tires very easily and has to be careful not to overdo it.

I know she is itching to get back in the swing of photography and the forum.

Cheers,
Helen

I saw a post at the Napp site that I thought was her and sent a pm. She said she's just now getting back into photos and now uses cs3 and too many forums are a bit much yet. Sounds like one more test to make sure she's in the clear. I told her we miss her and her lovely spirit.

Hi Everyone. Thanks for your concern. Ellen caught up with me when I was posting a question on the NAPP site. She mentioned there was a thread. Sorry, I am trying to start back with the camera and also learning CS3 and find I just don't have the time to keep up with everything. I am waiting for a result of an ultrasound on my liver from last week and then this morning my Oncologist called and said they wanted to do another ultrasound on my breast. I just want this all to end. I was planning to get back to the gym but now feel I won't get back to that routine until I know everything is on track - and I am sure it will be soon.

I found that it really makes a difference not working on the computer or catching up every day like I used to. I go to work on a photo and cannot remember the simplist things. I see they have now come out with Elements 6 - where does the time go. By the way - has anyone tried the new software Viveza. It can be used with Elements. I was reading about it in Photoshop User. It is expensive but pretty soon one won't have to learn anything because plug-ins will take care of everything. Check out on their site www.niksoftware.com (http://www.niksoftware.com). Thanks again for caring.

Glad to see you back Shari. Don't worry about the memory-it's called chemo brain. It screws up your memory. Suggest just increasing the number of things you take notes for.
