How do you add a referral....

How do you folks put a referral in your letters, underlined and in blue, to another site without showing the whole URL? Readers just click on that one word and are taken to another site.

I can't seem to do a search on this as I don't know the correct terminology.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

First, type the text you want to link (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/www.adobe.com).
Next, highlight the text with your mouse. Click the globe with the chain on it in the editing window of the forum.
Type (or paste) the complete URL into the appropriate box. When you click OK, the highlighted text becomes the link.

Hope this helps! This is pretty typical behavior for ANY software where you can build links (Word, Excel, etc.), so it's a good skill to have!
