burning to dvd [Archive] - Elements Village

I am using a trial of Photoshop Elements 4 and put together a slide show to burn to dvd I only get an option to vcd, is this because I do not have the Premier installed??

Welcome to the forums :)

Basically yes... Photoshop Elements will only burn vcds. If you want to create a dvd then you will need to install a product like Premiere Elements.

Thank you so much it was driving me crazy last night. I purchase Nero, which is not yet installed on my computer, would that work along with elements??

Nero won't work with Elements in the way that Premiere does - but it works fine on it's own...

Hi-

I have been making the vcd's for several months now and they will work in most of the newer DVD players.
Just thought you may want to know.
You can also play them on your computer with something like WinDVD.
