Hmm...this one is a toughie. Can't wait to see everyone's ideas.

Mary Lou -
I agree. I don't have an idea yet either ... but I know it's going to be fun to see what folks come up with. Remember it's not a race ... keep the idea in your mind and you'll come up with something great.
I sure wish I hadn't sold my Beatles vinyl.

I'm sure what helped the most was the Crown Royal! :p:D (hic)

Steven,
If left alone with that CR, I might have helped... myself!! :D

Tony - your picture reminded me of old Johnny Carson skits where put up pictures of the LA freeway system and all the confusing roads and signs...:D

We have quite varied interpretations of the theme going so far.
Steven - I love the miniature effect ... and your pal's cart is certainly tricked out very nicely. Great way to get the theme rolling.
Val - Very nice. You've got quite a collection of helpful books and websites!
Tony - Wow, lots of choices! You're right ... that wouldn't help me at all. I think I'd just head to the 18 Wheeler Restaurant and ask directions.
Joe - Great image!! I like everything about it.
Judy - Your interpretation of the theme is spot on! That's a wonderful, lively image.
Kim - Trashing your leg has gotten you two fine photo theme entries so far. Some may think it's too high a price to pay, but I admire your commitment! (Hope the healing process is coming along.)
We're off to a fine start ... keep them coming in!

Thanks for the well wishes, Bill! Although nothing (not even an ankle) is too great a sacrifice for "The Challenge!" :D

Ordinarily, I wouldn't feel compelled to explain why I didn't submit a photo - but since this theme was my suggestion, I will offer my excuse...
I have been spending quite a bit of time (being helpful) serving as a juror in U.S. District Court. The Courthouse is in Sacramento, 70 miles away from my home. Of course, this week is when they've completely closed the north-bound lanes of I-5 in the middle of downtown Sacramento. So tens of thousands of vehicles (including mine) have been scrambling for alternate routes - all of us experiencing about an extra hour delay beyond our normal times. And I still had to do most of my regular job in the evenings when I got home, and in the mornings before I left. Spare time was non-existent.
Thankfully, the verdict is now in, and I'm off the hook for Jury Duty for a couple of years. But with everything that I've neglected around here, I am doubtful I will be able to submit an image.
I could really use some of that Crown about now, Steven!! :p

Byron - Thank goodness that's all it was. I was afraid you were going to pull another one of those cow/clock things out of your hat at the last minute.:D
Thanks for being a responsible citizen ... glad it's done for awhile.

Thanks Lisa, you just stuck that tune in my head - aren't the pills supposed to be yellow?

We're finishing the week on the same high level we started it with ...
Clara - Straws and helping hands are indeed our friends. Nice shot!
Bayla - I love those things!!
Pat - That's a fine image. I'll bet you're right ... being able to drive probably increased his level of interest.
Deb - Not only a helpful item, but with the blaze going on it was probably a very important item!:)
Sepiana - Yup, ... that helps a lot!
Ellen - Nice shot! I too would have initially looked for a more 'weathered' ring, but I really like the way the orange pops. Good entry.
Lisa - Thanks for that one. That song had crossed my mind earlier in the week but I couldn't think of a way to execute it. It's best I didn't ... yours turned out great!!
Mary Lou - Very helpful around here. Nothing but rain and threatening rain for eons. Good theme interpretation.
Craig - Thank you too. Your entry helped me remember what's behind our perpetual cloudcover. Thanks for joining in!
Martha - Very helpful things for a big job indeed. And Gary's right ... you had plenty of time.;)
Gary - Very helpful folks indeed, and whatever they're talking about looks quite serious. Thanks to them and you for helping out at the schools.
Good job folks ... and there's still time for more.
