I just used Dane's watercolor tutorial and found the instructions to be excellent BUT I didn't do a very good job of my two attempts. I need help please.
Question 1: When we are told to use the Wet Media Brush> Heavy Flow, does that mean the brush Heavy Flow Scattered? I don't seem to have one that just says Heavy Flow (PSE 4 for Mac).
I am going to try and attach my pictures (please don't laugh when you see them - if I am able to successfully attach them).
.
Thanks for any help. Val B.

I do not know how much how help I am going to be, I am not familiar with that tutorial, and I have Photoshop Elements 3 and 6 PC. But....
Is the tutorial actually done with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements?
In Photoshop Elements 6 Editor, PC, Wet Media includes "Brush Heavy Flow Scattered" as well as "Heavy Scatter Flow". If you have not done so already, search around for the two options and try the "Heavy Scatter Flow".

I have used that tut several times and it works wonderful. Look in your brushes for wed media brushes I use # 22 water color heavy loaded brush. If you hover over the brush it will tell you what the brush is.
Can you post something you have done with the tut so maybe we can see where to help you.

I also use the wet media brushes when following Dane's tut. Works well.

Sepiana,
Watercolor tutorial is located here.

Val,
The Heavy Flow Scattered or Drippy Wet should work fine. At the time, that I wrote this my Heavy Flow brushes were under the Wet Media. Now they're not there, but located under two other media brushes. The big thing to do is use a low Brush Opacity and to resize the brush thru out the 'painting'. Short strokes appears (to me) work the best too.
I also have found that I like using just about any of the 'scatter' type brushes (along with the chalk brushes). The thing here is to play and have fun.
Thanks,
Dane

Here is example: http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=27890
Tip: Zooming in and changing the brush size, go over some of the 'dark' areas is also a nice touch.

Tina: Can you tell me how you created the photo with the flowers and butterflies - how did you overlay it.
