How do you resize the postage stamp after it is completed? I used Wendy's tut.

Thanks.

Pete...the leader is REALLY ooB! Love you how let the pavement spill out of the image...nice touch!

Rita...I really LOOKED hard at your image...you changed the color of the leader's uni! And she's balancing on a tuba! (Just in case you didn't notice...:D). Very cool touches!!

mks - those are some BIG honkin' beer cans....enough to stand up to tuba players' big thirsts! :D Very clever!

Thank you, Val. Must have happened when I wasn't paying attention. I like your composition, nice light rays.

Bill, that must have taken a lot of selecting. It's so good, it took me a moment to even realize that the background had changed.

Cape, very neat font cutout and reflection.

Thanks Rita. We had a parade in town on Saturday night ... I happened to be nearby as the parade watchers were beginning to arrive, and caught a lucky break in traffic when there were no cars in the street.

Tony - I like the quadritych idea and I especially like the background. It looks like stage curtains ... did you make it or use one of your images??

Don't we all love a parade?
Val's starting us off with the great scored background and fairies riding Sousaphone waves led us to
Cape's spot on photo filled letters complete with a fine reflection which led us to
Tony's happening upon the majorette(sp?) getting some space -and then a bit later getting it all four squared away.
MaryLou 's stamp edges are just right to send,
Bill- sorry you missed the Rhododendron Fest but what a seamless transport to Roses! impressive move
Rita- that is one fabulous transformation - on a tuba stand and most importantly keeping the parade wave.
Pete -as Val said that is one knock out OOB! The transition from the photo to the pavement is inspired.
Marie - parades on TV are my weakness so I'll be over next time.
Bob- Your arrangement is perfect! (I know in Chicago there was a tuba group called the Low Blow) And thanks yet again for your always insightful comments on Grant's challenges.
Val sent a photo to pht.challeng@gmail.com for us to mess around with and so should you all. (Val- I'll wat til hot weather before using it.)

Bill: I was real lazy - that's one of the backgrounds that comes with PSE6 :D.

Thanks for your comments. I dithered about using the 16th notes until I remembered Bernie Green's 'Flight of the Bumblebee' with lead tuba.

I really liked your quadriptych too. Any chance of a tut on it? I'm not very 'up with it' when it comes to doing stuff like that......but I want to expand......

Toni (with an i ): Wasn't too difficult. All I did was make a selection and copy and paste to a new layer - then move the selection along to the next piece and do it again until I had the 4 bits on 4 layers. Then I used a background that came with Elements and used one of Jodi's layer style frames on each of the 4 layers. Hardest part was deciding which bits to select so they came out the same size and each made a sort of picture in a picture. Be easier with a landscape where you don't run the risk of chopping people in half :)

Christell- I love that! Not only the inclusion of past challenges but the curve of the new street is just perfect.
