Not directly... but you can save your small image as a *.bmp file, and subsequently change the extension to *.ico and that will work.

see attached place inn PSE6/plug-in/fileformat and will save as .icn format.
what i wanted to know was how to create the icon, i was going to send you an 8bi file but is to large to uplift. i will try to find the web site and send you that. found it

I can't look at the plug-in right now... but as to your question "How to create the icon"... an icon is simply a small image.

You could start by reviewing this Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICO_(icon_image_file_format)) about Windows icons, then determine what size and color depth you desire. Once you have that decision made, create the image in PSE accordingly.

I don't know how the plug-in you reference will assist - maybe it adds the icon file-type to the Save As list? Like I said, I can't look at it right now.

Maybe someone else will be able to take a look at the plug-in in the short term and give some tips.
