I have been experimenting with "Bridge" in PE4 for Mac to assemble panoramas. This has been working well.
Recently, when I click "Browse" to find my photos in iPhoto I am not given the option of using it. I have no idea what has happened and hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Here's a work around to get Bridge to "play nice" with iPhoto. You will notice that after the pano is stitched Bridge opens it in PSE. Use File>save as to save the pic to a file on your desktop, then use iphoto's import feature to bring it in. As to what Bridge did with your pics, I suggest you search in pictures; not iPhoto. If you notice your memory mysteriously dwindling, Bridge's secret stash is probably the culprit. I periodically have to trash those files.

Thanks for replying with suggestions. I think you have misunderstood my problem. I use Bridge to assemble the pano and have been doing that for several months. Just last week I was no longer able to get the photos from iPhoto for Bridge to stitch. I did find a workaround that someone had posted in this forum ( I cannot relocate it) suggesting to make an alias of iPhoto originals in the iPhoto library. I stored the alias on the desktop and was able to use that as a source of the photos. You, however, have made a suggestion that made me think about corrupted files in Bridge. I might be able to delete some preferences if I knew what ones to delete.
My problem has not been solved but a workaround allows me to continue the work I am doing.
Thanks for responding so soon.

ok. To reset Bridge preferences, 1st quit Bridge. Double click on the icon to re-open Bridge while holding down the shift, control, and option keys together until the reset window comes up. I'm currently using PSE6 and can access photomerge from there under file>new so haven't needed to do your process. If the reset doesn't work, probably will need to stick with the work around unless decide to upgrade to PSE6 unless PSE4 can also get to photomerge(I don't remember).

My computer has been down for a few days so I just found your message.
Thank you for the help. I tried what you suggested and it worked so I am on the move again.
Thanks a million.
