Blurry pics in Organizer

I'm using PSE6.

I have noticed in the Organizer when I view my photos they don't seem at all sharp, rather a bit blurred.

The shots themselves are fine- as soon as I open one up in the editor I can see the true sharpness of the image, but even if I set the organizer to single photo view I'm still getting a blurry version.

This is pretty off-putting, as it makes it difficult to sift through images in bulk and discard the blurred ones.

Is it something to do with my settings perhaps?

Are the problem pics JPEGs or raw or both?

XP or Vista?

Try this to regenerate your thumbnails:

1. File > Catalog > Repair
2. File > Catalog > Optimize
3. Edit > Select All
2. Edit > Update Thumbnail

This could go as slow as 2,000 to 10,000 thumbnails, so perhaps do it overnight.
