I saw this used as a theme on a different site and it got some really interesting entries. The theme is roll, and interpretation is completely up to you ... noun??? verb???

Everyone is invited to participate.
Because the purpose of the weekly theme is to get us more familiar with our cameras and to sharpen our photographic skills, entries should be taken during the week of the theme.
Photoshopping is allowed.

Within earlier days supposed to be a mangle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mangle_%28machine%29) (in the US called wringer),
a hand-operated device with rollers, for wringing laundry.
But as you can see ;) , it rolls also the one or other witch.

First thing I thought to do was sushi, but when Steven posted his I decided on something else. And then I looked at his again and it looked so darn good the next thing I knew I was out having sushi ... and taking photos of it.

It's kind of an 'in your face' shot, so if you've seen enough, don't click the thumb .... you've been warned.

Pass this regularly - today I stopped and took a picture. This was my first attempt at post-processing in Lightroom (Thanks Julie for the 2.0 invite :)). Learning as I go along and it would have been quicker in PSE - and also quicker if I watched some tutorials over at NAPP but I'm a great believer in jumping in at the deep-end and seeing how intuitive a program is - it's not that bad.

Looking out of a window of the Mill in Clinton NJ, which on June 11 will be featured on the SciFi channel for the show "Ghost Hunters". They will investigate the mill to see if it's haunted:eek: ...come to think of it, it did feel like someone was standing behind me when I took the shot. I thought my wife was watching me take the photo but when I turned around ...nobody was there.
