More a question to start. Is a separate thread for comments a good thing? I also don't know quite what size to post for everyone. Around 900kb?
EZ challenge is here (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?p=380119#post380119)

I think 900K-1 MB is fine Ellen. Grant's large challenge images seemed to average about 1 MB. And a separate thread for comments is always good.

This current image is a masking nightmare! I may have to take a different approach on this.

Yes, I think a separate comments thread is great.

Another fun image for this week, thanks Tony and Ellen. :)

Ellen: That was quick and thanks for choosing - ran across the display of antique windmills yesterday and luckily had my camera with me.

This current image is a masking nightmare! I may have to take a different approach on this.

That did cross my mind when I was picking the angle  . But then I remembered Grant liked to mix things up to give some variety to the challenge (and add to the challenge).

I slept on it and still don't have a clue where to start

Am I correct in assuming that we can do anything we want since I don't see any instructions? Nice photo Tony!!

Hi, Mary Lou. I think that's the rule....no rules! Jump in and have a ball, and I'm sure someone will scold me if I've led you astray..:p

Steven - Great job! I love the dark mood you've achieved with this image. Terrific, as always! Is there a story to this house?

Rob - very funny! Hope you can manage to keep all four wheels on the ground as you haul'er home! :p

Bill - I never took you for a quitter! No masking and cloning on this one?

I thought Rob had invented a wind powered vehicle.

Just think, once you get going, the breeze from your motion will keep you going forever.:eek:

Gary - you are on to something! You are up a creek when it is dead calm. however.

TPBM has seen the movie Dead Calm.

(oops...wrong thread :D:D)

Thanks Val and Kim! This is just an old house ready for the wrecking ball. It's in an area that is now totally strip malls and paving. Hard to believe this was once farmland! The abandoned shopping carts out front indicates there may still be some occupants inside.

Mary Lou,

HERE (http://www.photogalaxy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=10157#10157) is a tutorial for doing animated gifs which JonE did a couple of years ago. It's a lot less complicated than it looks...if I get a free moment I'm going to go back and fine tune it by doing far more layers so it goes round a full circle!

These are all so fine!
It looks like Mary Lou and cfair are having a bit of trouble posting.
