How do you transfer pictures from one catalog to another?
Thanks,

Ray,
I'm afraid that you cannot move photos between catalogs. :(

Mike,
Isn't there a workaround ... or does it mean if you make a mistake you are stuck with it?

Wendy,
I haven't heard of a workaround to this... do you think there is one?
Mike :)

Mike,
I'm a Mac user so I haven't a clue about this one ... but surely there must be some way to remove an image and then put it in another catalogue?
I am always changing my mind and moving things between my different Photo Albums :)

There is definitely no option or function to move pictures between catalogs...
...but a workaround is to create a new catalog, load the photos into it that you want to move and then delete them from the default "My Catalog" - making sure not to check the "also delete selected item(s) from the hard drive" option !!.
Of course you will have to re-assign any tags & collections in the new catalog.
A bit messy but it works ok..

Mike,
You are a star ... it may be messy but at least now there is a way for Ray to do it :)

Thanks Mike & Wendy,
I guess I'll do it the hard way. This may be a good suggestion to Adobe for a future update.
