Crop Challenge #45

This week was really hard finding photos to crop after Joe's really nice photos from last week.
My 2 photos were taken at Acadian Village in Lafayette, LA.

The rules:

You must crop the image
The crop can be any size
You may do other edits
And have Fun!

I guess Bill and I were thinking alike :). I just let the Photomerge Panorama in PSE6 do its thing and here's what it did....

Here's my go at it. I straighten (according the the picket fence) then did a couple high pass layers and a softening layer and fianlly I copied some of the info off the website that Christell posted.
pic 2 is with a gradient layer added.

I also had to do this crop. I didn't notice this until I zoomed in on picture last night. I laughed when I saw this sign next to house. Did they have pest control way back then?????
