I'm first?! Woohoo!
Anyone for Kiwi?
I had to stop the wife from making her "Mothers day brunch fruit salad" for this shot.
Enjoy

I call this Lazy Man's Still Life. The bananas are bruised, so they won't be eaten by me.

I made two pictures and I really like both of them, so here's my apple dish.

I hunted high and low last week for kitsch, and didn't find anything at home ;) until I went to a vintage car show on Sunday (saw some of those furry dice that hang on the rear view mirror)when it was too late :o.
So here is this week's

I'm ashamed to admit it, but this is probably as close as I come to consuming real fruit! Might this be the reason I have scurvy??? :o And as you can see.... I go for the real high-quality, name-brand items!
(And, no, I'm not getting a kick-back from product placement advertising!)

Not a product endorsement either but these are among my favourite beverages and as the apple tree is in blossom and there was an apple in the fridge it seemed appropriate to show the beginning to end .... if you've never tried ice cider, try it if you can find it - absolutely delicious stuff and a labor of love to make - I know because that cidery is near me and I watched the process this winter - really looking forward to trying the end product later this year :).

A pair of these room scents came for Mother's Day, along with a prepaid housekeeper for the day. A very thoughtful gift from my two daughters.
Smells delicious in here, grapefruit, lemon & vanilla. And before you even ask... yes, as soon as you open it, voila - there's the fruit!

Here's some very cool berries. The latin name is BILLardiera longiflora! Australian blueberry vine is the common name, too bad there was a bit of wind when I shot this. The berries last for six months or so.

This time of year the marionberries are from Chile and the raspberries are from Mexico. In a few months the neighborhood bushes will be loaded with enough for us to share with the birds!

Hi Mary Lou -
Hope you don't mind, I've reposted the link to your image so we can all see it in a larger size.

Plenty of fresh fruit in our house, but instead I thought I'd focus on the fruit design (can't decide if it's an apple or a cherry!) on the baby carseat:

It's a bit late...but I took the photo on Friday, then got a desperate call that someone was needed to take care of my grandson...and I'm a soft touch. Anyway...a New England apple:
