Just watched this weeks photoshop tv and have a couple comments to make. First off, I started with a big smile regarding the clothing. Dave, our wonderful Canadian representative appears in shorts and short sleeve shirt, while Scott was wearing pants and a jacket and Matt was kind of in between with pants and a t-shirt.
I love the show and love the humour. A good half hour of laughing and even if I didn't have photoshop elements, it would still be fun to watch!! Way to go guys. I WANT YOUR JOBS!! Travel, joking around, playing around with photos. What more could a person ask for? Oh yes, and you get paid for it all too!

Wendy, you seem to face a lot of network congestion in your area... Have you thought of testing your connection speed ?

When you encounter a problem with PET website, go check your speed.

FYI's
Wendy...Yes thats why the site has been slow, we are buying servers weekly to correct the situation, I'm sure Paul varies from very happy to be getting new toys every week to pulling his hair out over the site issues.
Jodi...New shows are posted on Mondays, Friday is when the drawings are for prizes.
Pauline... we DO have great jobs :) as for Dave's attire, in the last year I have seen him wear pants twice...once when he interviewed me and the other time (monday) when he came to work in pants long sleeve shirt and fleece jacket for halloween (he was dressed as Matt) Matt is our Florida baby... if it's not 90 he's cold  btw that outfit lasted like an hour, maybe two before he was back in shorts :)

Tami, that is too funny. I guess Dave hasn't adjusted to your weather yet!! Poor Matt, being made fun of, but it sounds like Dave had to suffer a bit himself!

Hi Ray ...
At first I thought that it was my connection but as I wasn't having problems with any other sites I gave up on that idea. Because I am around here quite often during the day I tend to notice how fast or slow the site is at different times.
Thanks for link I will bookmark it ... at the moment I use this one:

I just watched #3 Episode....quite fun and informative as usual. Ya gotta love these guys. Commercials are way better than TV commercials too....I think I would like 'Layers' magazine. ...AND the L-A-B tute book. I'll put those on my list of 'wants'. What a wonderful prize this week as well...to die for prize. Good Luck everybody !

Tami, wow ! Great work ! Ya definietly made me 'want' Layers magazine and I'm generally not easily persuaded...so, ya done real good.
A little disappointed that Scott's guest , 'Ben' who was doing such a nice job with the tutorial was being overpowered by conversation nearby....I'm sure this was something that couldn't be avoided as it was 'live' split moment stuff...surrounded by over enthused shop talk...caught in their own moment of glamour. ;)

Thanks Jodi :)
Yes, Ben was outgunned on the sound side, he's very soft spoken to begin with and even doubling his audio and filtering out as much of the background as I could it was still low :(

I tried watching Monday night and it was just impossible. It kept starting and stopping and drove me nuts. I figured it was just volume of people viewing and waited until Tues. morning. No problem at all then. I guess I will just make Tuesday morning my photoshop tv day!

Question:
on the tip that Ben did using channels to even color-will that work with the channel mixer extra from this site? I'm hoping so, it may solve a problem with the restoration I'm working on.
:D thanks!

Carol ...
Do you mean the one using Curves to correct the face colour?
If so then I'm afraid you can't use that in Elements as the Curves add on dosn't have individual channels ...
I'm just wondering if it could be done using Grant's Individual Channels and Curves ... I'm not sure on that one but I'll try to check it out when I get home :)

Just a thought... Photoshop TV is available through iTunes (Free, www.apple.com/iTunes/). Photoshop TV is available as a podcast, so you can launch iTunes, refresh your podcast list, and let it download while you attend to something else.
There's a status bar showing the progress of the download in iTuns, so you know where your podcast is ready to serve :) Even if it takes longer to download, it'll eventually get into your iTunes.

I'll give it a go this afternoon and see how it works with dial-up. I have a massage therapy appointment in 50 min. Oh, Sonya has magic fingers and hands. I'll let you know how I get on with the download. :)

Hi Wendy,
Thanks for checking it out for me-is was worth the try! As far as iTunes go, I do exactly as Ray suggested-get it downloading in iTunes, empty the dishwasher, check my email...until it's done, then it's always there to watch. Quality is quite good, and the download is free. I use iTunes all the time, I have a pretty big music library and am on my second iPod (Photo). Cannot live without my iPod! Hmmm, may have to get an iPod Video... 8)

Wendy...
I will have to the downloads when I have plenty of routine stuff to do like laundry, dishes and reading. Using the old dail-up works but is slow. My husband mentioned high speed last week. I think he has realized that his & her computers don't work together on the web with single line dial-up. :D

I've asked my husband to do long downloads at work for me. I think by next month we will have at least DSL. (Hopefully)
