The update from earlier today is complete. If you're wondering where the original thread went, it accidently went away when I was playing with the new moderation features. I made a test thread but accidently had both threads checked... And hey, it works :). I promise to not nuke this thread.

So I don't believe we had any outstanding issues, but if you notice anything funny please let me know. Also, if you have questions about the new stuff, fire away.

I don't think this is a new problem but "automatically detect DST settings" didn't work. I had to switch it to "DST corrections always on" to get the time display correct.

It is kind of sad to explore the profiles and read all of the "has not made any friends yet" That is a depressing phrase. Hmm... I wonder if we are going to get a lot of cliques now that we have this friend thing. Back to high school we go.

I have been exploring thread tags and added a couple. I used quotes for two word tags but apparently we don't have to. They do make them a bit easier to read in the tag cloud since it doesn't have commas although I guess as tags are added they change size and it will be easier to differentiate phrases. (tag explanation link that got lost in thread nuke: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1450765#post1450765)

All of the tags but the two I added don't link to anything. I think they were all from the thread that got nuked. Although I don't know how "keep waching anime" applied to anything I recall.

Yeah, that friend thing in one's profile seems pretty high school to me too. Is there a way one can get rid of it? I have no friends and I don't need the world to know it.

I agree - if we can dump it.

Steven - Kim MIGHT consider being your friend. :D

I just now found this thread. As I did not see the original thread, was there something mentioned there I am not seeing here?

I have not found the friend tagging mentioned, but I agree with Steven and Karin, i doubt I would like it.

What is "thread tagging"?

Are there other new features here I have not yet found? (I have not found anything yet!)

Hey, Steven's always been my friend. I'd ride on his trains any day ('course I'd have to wipe the dog and cat hair off the seats first).:D

Jon ...

A lot of spam seems to be getting through ... has something changed or is it just a co-incidence ??

Jon,

Though I was going crazy when I couldn't find the thread this morning!

Any chance you could repost the link on 'tag search' please? I didn't save it.

Bayla

Oops, sorry, I just realised that Karin has already posted the link above.

One new thing mentioned in the nuked thread is that if you look on the righthandside under posts it says images and if you click on it then you get taken straight to the person's gallery here (but not to their PET gallery)

Also you can now search the gallery direct from the search tab.

Thank you Bayla! Those are handy new features to have.

Do you, or anyone else know what the new Tag/Edit Tag is that is now below the "Post Reply" icon?

I missed the earlier action too and I tend to agree but just to see if it worked I did create a social group for people like me who have no friends - it's called The Friendless Photoshoppers. Join if you need a friend although I'd be quite happy to see the whole social thing nuked :D .

I believe it is just a coincidence. We have the same block lists and what not.

Wasn't there a "Buddy List" before the change? If so, I don't see any difference from the new Friends List.

Nancy- She won't now once she reads the True or False thread!

Steven - Not even if you set me up on your PayPal account! But I will forever be your Forum Sparring Partner. Should I sign my name under the "Foe" section in your profile (if there is still room?)
