ps, the leaves are in the default brushes and are truly a pleasure to work with while using the pen and tablet.

Jodi - that is awesome! :) I am definitely going to try those brushes - it is amazing to see someone use program assets that I totally overlook. You did a great job on their costumes also. :)

Jodi, that is beautiful!! I am so partial to fall and fall colours. What's with the heading "ink suckers?" LOL I thought it was going to be a complaint about printers.

Pauline, ya, thinking of the ink this pic will suck up...;) I generally tend to throw alot of white into my album pages to save on ink but I liked the fall colors so this will be an 'ink sucker' :)
Obviously this isn't a typical scrapbook page since i'm not really into decorating pages that way but wanted to share it just the same. Thanks for all your compliments ! :D Oh I added a drop shadow to the brush leaves layer. I played with bevels and stuff but the leaves became overpowering so dropped the idea.

Jodi, that one is worth the ink. I think it would be nice printed and framed. It's a lovely collage and the leaves aren't overpowering. A perfect combination. Not to mention that your little models are so cute!!

Pauline...speak of the devil...the 'low ink' red light came on my printer after printing the pic....I knew it would tho since the ink monitor showed very little color ink left before I started. But it made it through without problems. I need to find me an ink supplier sugar daddy ;) ...one that's too old to give a darn about ...that. ;) Know anybody ?

  Sorry I can't help you there Jodi, but since my husband drives 2 hours to work and then home again, I think he might qualify!!!
Lucky thing you got the whole thing printed BEFORE it ran out of ink. It would have been a waste of good printer paper if you only got half done. With the Epson printed I wasted plenty of photo paper because of clogged print heads, and that was extremely frustrating!!

Wendy, ok, I will ;) I hope he survives the trip
Pauline, yes I know you had problems with your other Epson...no problems here. I never print after the red light comes on...after printing as much as I have with this printer I knew I had enough. So now I have to wait before I can print again. :( I finally got around to watching the Photoshop TV today...they are so cute. Pssst..named after the Adobe River ;)

Nice picture Jodi! I didn't even take pix of the kids this year. They look just like they did in their Jedi costumes this summer so I didn't bother.

Kerri, funny, I was thinking of you and your kids the other day when I was making those vests for my kids. I was thinking of those grand costumes you made and wondered about what they would wear for halloween. I thought about how talented you were with your sewing machine. The Jedi's looked so fabulous and the photo was really well taken. I thought some more of your sewing machine and wished it were mine. I don't have one so it was all 'hand sewn' work i did ont their vests. Gosh i really want a sewing machine. Haven't used one since I was a youngn' on my mom's old Singer. I do use 'stich witchery' alot...that iron on tape...but it only holds just so well.

Geez Jodi, you're makin' me blush! :D
Funny how I have my sewing room now and no time to sew. Today's the first day I've even been in there in months and that was only to do some patches on Cub Scout shirts really quick and to resew some pants pockets that were done stupidly to begin with. I don't suppose there will even be any Christmas crafts this year!
Amazing how well stitch wichery and an iron can take the place of a sewing machine sometimes!
Were the skull and wolf done with iron on applique or iron-on printer paper? (or otherwise?)

You know, those colours are almost identical to the ones we see each year in the Laurentians (if you've ever been there, you know what I mean).
Very warm, and it brings good memory :)

Ray, indeed I have been there but it was many years ago. Can't recall too much of what I saw ;) The print came out wonderfully...very rich in color unlike the sRGB I posted.
