Changing Bevel Shadow Color?

Is there a way to do this? My white buttons end up with a black shadow when I bevel the edges...is there a way to change the color of that so it isn't such a harsh difference?

Which version of elements are you using? (It may not matter, but it's important to know for sure.)

Hi ...

You can't change the bevel colour in Elements ... you need photoshop to be able to do that :(

It can be done manually. Make your bevels, then duplicate the layer twice. Using Paint Bucket colorize the dark areas of the bevel on the the first duplicate layer. Then colorize the light areas on the second layer. Set the first layer to Luminosity at about 25% opacity and the second layer to Color at 100%.
