Hey there Lightroom lovers, it's my turn this week...
************************************************** *******

The purpose of this weekly challenge is to encourage creative experimentation with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. All Lightroom users are welcome to join in and for those who don't have Lightroom but wish to play, here is the link to the 30-day trial version.

Please make any adjustments you choose to the following image and post your results in this thread. Share how you processed the image and provide information on any develop presets used. All modifications on the image should be made in Lightroom.

************************************************** *******

This is a beautiful Live Oak tree on a golf course down in South Carolina - taken in the early morning. I've tried lots of different presets on this image and can't decide what I like, so I thought I'd throw it out to the studio audience!

Have fun with it!

Great Image. I tried some pre sets but none to my liking. Thought the best was to expound on the original. Worked my way down the develop module and framed in PSE-4

This is a great shot a really fun image to play with, Nicole! I started with Matt's Vividity Preset-Level 3...and then I lowered the exposure and worked my way down the adjustments until I ended up with this.

My first thought was B&W then I ended up with this!

It is fundamentally a preset called Mystical Landscapes by Nachbelichtet.

Thanks for posting it Nicole. Is that where you saw your nutria? :p

Oh good - because I finished with this - black and white - reflecting my mood for today!

I love what you've all come up with so far - all so very different, it's fascinating. I'm glad none of us cropped out the little ducks in the bottom right of the pond!

Julie that preset is great on this image...I'm physically having to restrain myself from looking it up as I know just what will happen...

No - there are no rodents of any kind in this pond - due to the fact that it's in South Carolina and full of alligators - not an inviting environment for any other creatures, great or small!

Gary, I love the sunset feel - and Tom, I don't know how you did it, but you managed to bring out a lot more detail in the tree without blowing out anything else.

Great job guys! Anyone for posting a new image? I tried tagging ShaneM via PM (if you're listening!) but no response yet.
