Hope all goes well for you now Joe. Thanks for taking the time to do this, I have a feeling it may not have been what you particularly felt up to given the circumstances.

Thank you Lisa, Toni, and Bill for the comments.

"Health Problems" sounds so cryptic and I really don't want to come across that way. The illness I have is called Diabetic Gastroparesis. It basically means the nerves in my stomach don't work very well. This causes my stomach to empty very slowly. Sometimes not at all.

I haven't had a severe attack in over 2 years. But in the past month I've had two which resulted in hospital stays. When I have a severe attack I get uncontrollable vomiting (every 5-15 minutes for days), severe nausea, and severe pain. The only thing that can help is IV drugs to help the vomiting and pain, 4mg of Dilaudid every 2 hours usually does the trick.

If I post anything stranger than usual in the next few days lets blame it on the pain meds I'm still taking.

I can't wait to see the photos you all come up with.

Gosh, Joe, that sounds like a tough thing to have. I've never heard of that but glad you haven't had it in 2 years. Wonder what is triggering it now? They have any idea? Hope you're feeling better soon though. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Bill, love the change in the roof! Too funny!

Steven - I am so glad you've begun participating in this challenge! Your images always make me laugh right out loud! Your work reminds me of those "Find The Hidden Pictures" that you used to see in the old "Highlights" magazines. I've spent about twenty minutes already trying to discover all of the surprises! Now I'm going back in! Great job, as usual! :D

Thanks Kim. I really miss the Grant's Challenge and I hope it's OK to do the offbeat stuff here. I did crop!

Highlights magazine has jumped the shark. Goofus and Gallant are now computer generated, and in color! I will read something else next time I go to my doctor's office, which is tomorrow! Say a prayer that Man Hands isn't in attendance! That's a Seinfeld reference for anyone going "hrrrumm?" That's a Scooby Do reference for anyone going "WTH?"

Steven - this is off topic but I am familiar with your every reference!!! I know Goofus and Gallant, I know Scooby Doo and his unique "hrrrumm?" and I definitely know Man Hands!!!

Your offbeat images are definitely welcome here! It might spur me to work harder! And good luck at your doctor's app. tomorrow! (You might want to practice both bending over and coughing!)

Bill: That has to be one of the most creative crops I've seen. Who would have thunk to put a new roof on? Such a perfect job too. Looks Fantastic!

Norma: Really nice, the entire background effect fits so well, even the text fits the theme.

Pete: Great border effect and color change to match. I've never been able to master the border effects like that.

Toni: Just beautiful! I think that photo cries out for a paint effect and you did it so nice.

Your Australian version made me laugh. In the US we picture a lazy dog in the front yard. You all have a kangaroo, and it fits perfect. Very nice job of putting the building in the new photo. It looks like an original picture.

H20: It was difficult to see your image as it was so small but it looks like a great paint effect. On pixentral, copy the text after Forum and paste into your post. That should let us see the full size image.

TonyW: The first thing that popped in my mind was Glamorous. I know you explained what you did. But there is a lot of experience and talent behind that to make it look so good.

Val: Beautiful effect. The first thing I thought of was some kind of purple themed flier for the church. Nice framing.

That red door does stand out. Nice crop and very creative framing. I've gotten so many ideas from seeing these images.

Steven: I laughed like hell. So funny and so creative. Great Job!!! Great photo-shopping too.

Don't ever worry about doing something funny here. Humor and a light hearted attitude is one of the things that makes this site so good.

Thank you for the kind comments everyone. Norma the doctors just don't know what triggers the severe attacks. They have ideas but nothing definite.

Joe - I like the lights on in your church-on-the-cliff. I tried to do that with my church but it just looked like a firefly blob had a little misstep trying to hit the window :p so I turned off the light.

Poor firefly.

I didn't do anything fancy. On a new layer I painted yellow, reduced the opacity, added gaussian blur, and inner and outer glow. The blur is what really helps.

But if you want to see the expert. Here is Mr. Monroy doing windows and rain. (http://revision3.com/pixelperfect/newscene/)

Christell: Wow Christell what a cool effect. I remember watching that tutorial awhile back from Corey. You did a great job applying your own touches to the church image. Nice sketch job on the old building also. I've been messing with Painter but I'm still not happy with my results yet.

Lisa: Another incredible job of putting your own touch to the photograph. I love the spooky look you gave it. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for but that is what I got. For some reason that church gave me that spooky house on the hill look and you did terrific in bringing it out.

Ellen: Thanks for joining in Ellen. You made that old building look like it was right on the waters edge. Just for info, I talked the wife of the man who owned that building. They had actually moved it from another location and placed it there next to the house they live in.

Pete: Nice Pete, the colors really came out fantastic in your image. Thank you for the compliment on the church photo.

Kim: Very funny Kim and very creative. It almost looks like you did a glamour portrait effect to the image. I love the way it looks.

Mary Lou: I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with Pixentral. Your image looks great and I know you worked hard on it. The main thing is that you learned something. I know I always do when I participate in one of these challenges. Thank you for participating and I'm glad you had some fun.

Eddie: What a beautiful image you made. I can't believe how good it looks. Very nice frame also, I'd love to have that as an action. Looks like a lot of hard work.

Thank you everyone for participating this week. I really consider it an honor to be part of this community.
