Someone has deleted all the files on the work place for joint projects set up where both Mac and Win users can enjoy doing a project together. This unfriendly and unnecessary action has prompted changes.
We'll still do our projects but the links have been removed or made useless and another strategy is being employed which will help preclude a repeated act of barbarism.

Will ...
Is there no way of checking who did it?

The big question is WHY? I would rather think that it was a mistake but if it was a mistake someone should own up to it quickly.
btw - I downloaded a copy to work on as most of us did - shall we try to reconstruct? :(

Hopefully ........ it was a mistake. I am well acquainted with hitting the wrong button when doing things on my own computer ..... but then you have the fallback of "Undo".
That's really sad Will.

Mary ...
I din't keep a copy of mine ... but it was a very early one so that shouldn't matter too much.
I wonder if the last person kept a layered file??

I only have a copy of the completed project so I can restore that much. However I'll have to PM the address since it was changed as an additional safeguard.

I have an early version ..layered..I think I was 4 or 5.
Also, if you would like to post the finished jpeg in my Gallery, for all to see but not touch, that would be fine by me. I could make it my main shot, so we could link directly to it.

That's awful. I haven't been able to participate because of life and schedules, but really enjoy watching the progress when I can. What a complete drag. :(

Well I didn't think this would happen -- but it has and we can rest assured that some of the work is still displayable.
I've even changed the link and will only PM it to individuals on request so if you haven't seen the finished project (unfortunately the beginner one was a total loss) then PM me and I'll set you up with a link. But no more posting it to the threads.

Oh crikey's, I did tell you to remove that delete button. Bugger.
Someone must have a psd to resurrect it again, hopefully.

Yes Spyder -- you did. Now I'll have to learn how to remove that option, so I'll need to work on that before we set up the TEAMS for the fun of doing more of these projects.

Will, maybe we can catch a leak on the matter at some point ;)

Just wondering Will, does your website keep a log of ip's or actions when someone visits? Might be something to look at when the deed was done etc.
