Brushes from CS3 to PSE5

Hi! I'm new to the forum so pardon me if this is a repetitive question, but do brushes made for CS3 generally work in PSE 5?

Yes they generally do ... at least the ones I have tried.

Oh it wouldn't do that ... :)

If you install an incompatible brush set then when you try to use them you get a message saying that they are incompatible.

There are a lot of places to get free brushes. Here is a good site I downloaded a few sets from yesterday.
