I takes lots and lots of photo of my daughter summer swim team. Last year I would print off 5-6 sheets of photos of approx 12-18 photos each and post them on the bulletin board every few days. The kids love looking for a pic of themselves and it also helps advertise to other pool members that belonging to the team is lots of fun. Last year I did this by dragging each photo over, sizing, and putting a frame around each. Are there some effects out there that does this that I can use with PSE6?

Hi,
in 6 you can go to create, artworks, frames. There are lots of frames that you can use. You select a frame then it says drag or open an image. This will open in the frame and is easily adjusted. Then if you duplicate this layer you can just drag in another photo. You could do this for all your photos.
Hope this helps.
Kev.

Jdaa,

What version of PSE are you using? PSE6 has a photo collage layout which can be autofilled with images from your photo bin. I haven't used it but it looks like it would automate the process for you. Once you have your photos in the photo bin, go to Create>Photo Collage then choose an appropriate layout and select autofill. There is one with 21 spaces on it.

PSE5 may have this function too, but I don't believe PSE4 does.

The Photo Collage Layout is just series of stacked frame layers like Kev described so it's not too hard to make your own or modify an existing one. Not sure if you make your own you can auto-fill but if you have all the pics in the Photo Bin you can drag and drop them one at a time which is quite quick and you can control what goes where. Keep the frames simple - like the No Frame or a simple outline frame and it would be easy to do it quite quickly once you get the hang of how frames in PSE5/6 work.

The other (and perhaps simpler) way of doing it is using the Picture Package in Print Multiple Photos. That has a 16 2x2.5 on letter size paper option (although you can make your own custom ones) and has a choice of frames. Then you'd just select 16 pics from the Organizer, Print Multiple Photos and you'd have it done.

I'm trying to make this as super simple as possible. I also do a DVD fundraiser with my photos so that takes up a lot of my time. Anyway, where is the "Print Multiple Prints"? I'd like to check out both of my options.

Also, I use PSE6 with organizing in iPhoto. I have iPhoto set to where I double click an image it will open in PSE6 for editing. I can highlight up to 4 images and they will open in PSE6. But if I highlight anything more than 4 still only the first 4 will open. Is there a way around this?

I see you must have a Mac. I don't know if PSE6 for Mac has Print Multiple Prints as the Mac version doesn't have the Organizer. Hopefully a Mac person can answer.
