A photograph of your place of work or retirement.....
Remember no photoshopping beyond levels, color correction, cropping...
Means no combining pictures -- we want the original photograph only...
Thanks for following the simple rules.

I live in a park and spend lots of time at the beaver pond. I'm retired and just LOVE taking photographs and playing with the images on the computer! So here's a shot at the swamp.

This is where I spend most of my day! This is my desk in what I used to call my "painting" room. Not much painting going on now. You can see the stack of books on the top shelf, and then under the drawer is another pile! Some of my paintings above and beside the desk. The other 3 walls are lined with shelves with more paintings on them!! It's a very cluttered room!!

Well, they say out of chaos comes....something!!
Anyway, last week with the boxes you saw where I work for money--but this is where I work the hardest. (for no money)
How I manage to make something out of this mess every once in a while--I'll never know.

It's not complete because I work in a small room, it would have required a VR image :-D

Seeing all those nice modern offices I thought I'd grab a picture from the working oil museum where I help out in retirement. The day journal in front is from 1917, the one on the left from the 1890s. Not sure how old the typewriter and adding machine are but they do make you appreciate computers when you try and use them (and I did have to at one time in my working career) :)

I've been just plain Mom for some years. This would be my office and my in-box:

I guess mine is late also. This organized chaos is where I am either thinking or doing.

And, I suppose I fall in the late category as well, since others before me do.
Here's my classroom. Just imagine 25-30 fourteen-year-olds, and you have my day in a nutshell. I left the normal clutter and mess. Levels adjusted, cropped, and sharpened a bit is all. It's hard to shoot in florescent lighting!
These are about 15 or so of the Dells that make up my lab. I would like to point out the early iMac Yum poster as well as the Jackie Robinson Think Different poster in the left corner, however. A lasting memorial to the Years of Mac (which ended about five years ago for us).

P.S. pixentral seemed to be having problems, so I threw the image in my gallery.
