I'm going through Photoshop Elements 4 online tutorial for layers. I just watched the "shapes" lesson where they talked about the "infinite" amount of shapes that come with photoshop. When I select "custom shapes" and then hit the "more" arrow, it only gives me the default shapes (probably about a dozen). In the Elements 4 lesson, however, his drop down has a HUGE selection of downloaded custom shapes.
Does anyone know how to access these shapes???
Thanks so much,
Elke

Hi Elke,
quite a few shapes come with Elements.
Like FREE brushes and fonts there are also a lot of FREE shapes that you can download.
Lots of stuff at the Adobe Exchange.
You need to register before you can download.
Adobe Exchange
www.adobe.com <http://www.adobe.com> then, on the top banner, hover over "Downloads", then pick "Exchange" from the pop-out menu.
When you click on shapes you may get a small display because of what is selected at
the moment.
There is a small right facing arrow at the top of that drop down.
Click on that and you get a list of categories.
All Elements Shapes will show all.
Welcome to the Forum.

You should have a lot more than the default ones when you click the more arrow in the shape selection box. You should get a list that looks like this:
2077
Select All Elements Shapes and you should get the big list.
