Pdf's

Why can I open these is Elements6 and NOT in 5?:confused:

When (recently?) and where did your create the PDFs?

What versions of the Adobe Reader are in Photoshop Elements 6 and 5?

The PDF was downloaded from a forum and opens in Adobe Reader. But if I click Open with and choose PSE6 it will open it. 5 won't!:confused:

I am curious. If you resave it in v6 will it open in v5?

Sue, check your file handling under Edit menu. Edit>File Association

Have tried your suggestion - i.e. selected all files types to open. Still won't work. Only certain ones will open, with the others I get - Cannot open because of a programme error. I have tried resetting everything. I am using a trial version of 6 and they all open in that!:confused: If I save as a PDF in 6 it will then open in 5!! Could this be anything to do with having both versions installed. I am sure I have been able to open them before.:(
