New Guy using PSE 4 and Vista 64,,, CRASH!!!

Any information on a new version of PSE that'll be fully V64 compatable?

Adobe only officially supports PSE 5.0.2 and PSE 6 on Vista (32- or 64-bit).

There are scattered reports on the Adobe forums of people using PSE 6 on Vista 64. But I haven't seen any general pattern of "doesn't work". See www.adobeforums.com.

You can download a free trial version of PSE6 and give it a try.

You can't expect PSE4 to work on Vista. Too bad but true.

I think that I'm going to wait for PSE 7. The new version might be out before too long. Vista 64 with my new system is awesome, but I look forward to the growing pains to end as new software becomes 64 bit.

Any word on a 64 bit version of PSE (wouldn't that be sweet)?

Adobe generally releases new version of PSE every fall. They almost never release interim updates.
