Hi, could you please let me know what it means when I try to use Photomerge in my PSE2 program. All goes well but when I try to bring it up after saving it to print it out, the pics are all jumbled incorrectly in the panorama and I get a message that reads, "Could not complete the Photomerge command because of a problem with the plug-in module interface" Please advise what I can do to fix this. Thanks, Garden Girl

Did this feature ever work in your Photoshop Elements 2? If so, you could try purging the Preferences if that was an option in the 2 version. Maybe, reinstalling the program?

What type of images are you using?

I do have Photoshop Elements 2, but not installed. If need be I will install it to troubleshoot unless someone else has a more immediate answer.

Thanks for your reply. This is the first time I have tried to use the Photomerge option on my elements. I just recently took a class for Adobe Photoshop CS2 and after learning how to use Photomerge in class I went home and tried to see if I could do it on Elements. All was going well.

I loaded three images I had just taken with my digital camera, (a panorama of my back property) made them about 4" x 6" with 150 resolution. I then opened the photomerge option set the three images up and asked for an automated photomerge. It merged the three images just fine, the photomerge worked great, it automatically aligned the photos with overlapping perfectly and I ended up with a lovely panorama image.

I then saved it in the Photomerge area (apparently that is the only place you can save these photomerge panorama type images once you are done with them). Then, when I went to open the saved image, it opened up on my screen as a single panorama image but came up with the three shots not in alignment and out of sequence. An error message then appeared as described earlier.

Yes, I thought of perhaps reloading the program (if I can find it:rolleyes:). I was wondering if others were having trouble using the photomerge option in the PSE2. Maybe you could load it up just to see if you can get it to work. Maybe it is a glitch in the PSE2 or maybe just a glitch in mine. I sure appreciate your help. As for purge, alas, I don't know how to do that. Thanks gardengirl:p
