Need help in framing pictures. I am frustrated in trying to come up w/frames. I have done searches, read articles as well as tried using the frames in PSE edit but what I have come up with don't hold a candle to the framing done by many members of this forum. Are these all created individually? Are there plug-ins that will give the quality of frames that are displayed in this forum? I appreciate any guidance you can give me. Thanks.

Hi Dales ...
Why not add a link in the thread to a framing effect you have seen in a gallery and we will work out how it was done :)

A lot of us do make our own frames(myself included). Simplest way to start would be to increase canvas size and cut to it's own layer and apply a bevel. As Wendy suggests, if you see a frame you like in the gallery either post a query or pm the author to ask how was done.

One possible plug-in would be onOne Essentials 2. (http://www.ononesoftware.com/detail.php?prodLine_id=11) It has a gazillion frames and a lot of flexibility. Also has other components - an extraction tool, an enlarging tool, and one for making basic photo improvements. To me, it is a good value at $60.
