Creating templates

Hi there, I have upgraded to PSE6 and can't work out how to create templates from an existing layout. In PSE3 I used to remove the colour from the photo so that it became gray. I would then "save as" the layout for future use as a template. Can anyone help? Thanks. Fiona

Hi Fiona ...

You should be able to do that in PSE6 too ...

That are several ways of removing colour ... one of them is Enhance>Convert to Black & White.

Thanks for this help. The brightness/contrast control under the menu will only go to -50 when I need -100, but the contrast slider under convert to black and white will do it.
