Brush tool disappeared

I don't know if I'm just going nuts or blind but my brush tool in PSE 6 Mac seems to have simply disappeared. I still have the pencil, clone, eraser etc., but not the brush. Short of trying reinstalling PSE, what do people suggest?

If you used the pencil last it shows in the tool bar. Just right click and see if a fly-out menu shows other tools that are under it.

I hadn't used the pencil but my son was playing around the computer and must have clicked on it. I didn't realize they were the same. Thanks!
