Hi all, haven't been around much lately due to my work life being very busy at the moment. However, I was delighted to be tagged by Robpendragon for this week's Playground, a great opportunity to pop back in for a while.

I am away at the moment and most of my latest photos are now on an external disc at home but I did find this taken early this year. These are not our dogs, but 2 that belong to another ridgeback owner. It was a bright day and we were walking with 12 other ridgebacks!! These 2 loved water and were having a great time in this puddle - however, in my hurry to to get some shots, I didn't check my settings - I took it on "Action", but the ISO was high (400), which wasn't necessary for such a bright day.

The purpose of this weekly challenge is to encourage creative experimentation with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. All Lightroom users are welcome to join in and for those who don't have Lightroom but wish to play, here is the link to the 30-day trial version.

Great Shot :D Looks like they were having a wet & wild time:p
First thing I did was used Matt's midnight preset then adjusted clarity, sharpness & vibrance to give the water a good boost.

Great snap! I used Nick's bronze preset - I think it makes the dogs look meaner!

I love these dogs! Used a preset called 400 v2 by Gavin Seim. Like Nicole, I wanted the dogs to look mean but unlike Rob wanted the water to look murky and muddy.

Used a WOW preset (WOW-c_HSL-Only_Brown) to remove color from surroundings so as to focus on the dogs...

Thanks, Julie.

There are lots of good, unique interpretations posted here of these fine dogs. LR gives us lots of opportunity to explore options and express some creativity...
