View Full Version : Creating copyright logo business name
petes photo
April 13th, 2008, 09:18 AM
I have Photoshop elements 6.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to create the 'C' within the circle, and add my business name after on photos.
I want to learn this before I send anymore proofs to my clients without it, as I typically download my proofs to CD and send them on to my clients for their ordering purposes.
Anybody help with info?
I am open to suggestions...

Choose a type face and size and hold down the option key and the letter g key.
That should give you the copyright symbol.
If your on a PC someone will come along and give you he proper key for option.
Here is copy you can drag onto your work.

One thing that helps me is to do the İ in Word and then caopy and paste it into PSE6.

Alt-0169 works only if both of these happen:
1) your num lock is turned on
2) you use the number pad on the right of the keyboard (not the numbers at the top of the QWERTY keys)

It could be the font set does not support that character .. the other thing is you have to use the number pad with the alt key held down.
If you have a laptop (without the num pad) then you may have to hit another key (function??) to make the numbers work as a number pad.:)

Once you have:
"İ Your name" in good order, you may wish to make a copyright brush, as this will permit placement on the proofs without having to re-type for each one. Here are examples:

Wish I had known that way back when I made my copyright brush. I did it the hard way by typing a small c, using the oval marque set to circle to select around, then stroked it.:o
