Image rotate custom (PS5)

Cannot use Image Rotate Custom, it is greyed and unavailable.Help.

Are you on the layer you wish to rotate? - look to your layers palette and see if the layer is highlighted.

If you don't have your layers palette open
window> layers is where I'd find it in PSE4

And note on the
image> rotate menu - the area above the line is for the entire canvas - the area below the line is for an individual layer

Just check what your mode is using Image>Mode

Custom is grayed out in modes like Bitmap .
