While surfing the web I saw a picture where the artist took a photo and made a "ghostly" effect where the main image was up front but behind it (going at an angle) the image repeated itself. As each image progressed it became more and more transparent. Can anyone out there help me out?
Thanks,
Joseph

Could try making multiple duplicate layers and using the move tool to offset after enlarging the canvas, then adjust layer opacity.

Could you post a link to the "gohst" effect so we can take a better guess as to how to come up with it.

Hi ..
I'm sure that Dave Cross did a tutorial on this effect for the PET Subscriber Area but I can't track it down.
He used the same photo as a background but I think he reversed it ??

To see the effect in question go to allPopart.com...look for the picture titled "David". Go to section called "Retropop".

The website you provided was pretty cool. Go to Diana's Helpful Links (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31800) and you can find a tutorial about doing some of those "pop art" effect.
As for the "ghosting" effect, just follow Linda's suggestion. Make multiple layers, move them around, and adjust the opacity.
