Need help w/Magic Extractor. In the attached pic. you will see in the bottom right hand corner a portion of black shelving. I have been trying to get rid of this w/the Magic Extractor but can't seem to get it to work. I have tried the clone but too many duplications show up. How can I eliminate this 'black corner' of the shelve? Thanks for the help.

The Magic Extractor will let you select a portion of or an object on a picture and transfer it onto another one. For this picture, you'll have to use some other techniques. You can try to clone all the way, which will be rather complicated.

I selected the left lower corner of the image, placed it on a new layer (CTRL-J), flipped that layer horizontally and put it on the right side.

It won't be a 100% fit, so the layer has to be manipulated with the Transform command until everything lines up decently. The new layer should also be adjusted with a grouped Levels layer, to blend the brightness.

When all of that is done, some detail cloning is still necessary, such as taking the flower out of the corner.

Here is a rough version of my attempt. If you look close enough, you will find some inconsistencies.
