Question about Photomerge Faces

I am ready for my first head transplant in PSE 6...but...

I get the two photos selected, align them, no problem. When I choose the pencil tool and place my cursor over the area I want to merge, the cursor jumps rapidly between the regular arrow and a circle with crosshairs, so that it doesn't allow me to "draw" over the area. It jist flops back and forth between the two symbols. Any ideas?

I've used it and haven't seen that problem. Only thing I can think is that you have a tablet - there have been reports of some tablets doing odd things - if you do try unplugging it. Although my tablet doesn't seem to have that problem unless I leave things on it.

Hi Tony-thanks. Actually, I went to the old stand-by and deleted the prefs. It's working now. I do use a tablet, so that's very useful info. BTW, that feature has much fun potential! How cool is that??:cool:

Carol: Glad that worked and you don't need to stick with faces - it will merge anything and does a great job doing it. Those new Photo Merge tools in PSE6 are very clever and you can do lots of things with them.
