Adding titles/text to frames?

Hello all. I'm capable of making my own borders but when I try to find a way to add a title within the bottom part I'm lost.

I've seen some nice pictures with titles written in the cursive style and would like to have a go at it. Any help would be appreciated.

Andy, select the text tool. This will make a new layer. Put the curser where you want to type your text, select the colour and text type and type your text.

There lots of effects you can do with text ... such as making semi transparent panels for it to sit on.
