does this ever happen to you? - 4shared and freebie downloads

I'm subscribed to the digital scrapbooking search engine so every day I get an email with a new list of freebies. I'm in heaven! Coffee and downloads (far less calories than coffee and donuts. lol!).

Anyway! When I click a link, I'm taken to the 4shared page then the DOWNLOAD link comes up and I click on it. MOST times, I am able to download, but sometimes when I click on the link, a preview of the image comes up and I don't get the download. What is going on? Anyone else encounter this?

There are some ABSOLUTELY YUMMY papers out there today which I just have to have and this is happening now. Does it happen to any of you?

Click on the Preview ... and then scroll down and you will see download.

However the file is very small ....

Wendy, I see what you mean about that file being so small. The others are larger, but for any and all, it doesn't matter how I get to that dl button on 4shared, i only get the preview. It only happens once in awhile which is odd. Every morning almost I'm sitting here playing and dl'ing from 4shared with no problem and then every now and again, i run into this. Very odd and frustrating!!!!

Wendy, that's what I'm trying to say. When I do that, I only get a preview of the item and not the download. Sorry if I'm not making that clear. I don't know how else to say it as I might be missing something here.

I recognize that this very file is too small, but this happens on ALL of her downloads and they are a variety of sizes. It's also happened with other blogs as well. It's only once in awhile but I'm trying to understand WHY it happens at all since MOST times I have no issue dl'ing. I do the same thing each and every time......but sometimes I'm just not able to dl the file and only get a pv of the item when I click on the dl button.

You obviously could dl the item, so why can't I? gggrrrrr......

Wow, I checked out the search engine and got hooked. I had to download a few things even though I usually do paper and paste scrapping.
BTW, I had no problem downloading any of the items.

I am having the same problem. Download Original Size only downloads the clip. If you come up with the solution, let me know.

With regard to DigiFree, do they send you an email when new things are posted or is it updated everyday.

I subscribed a long time ago. Check out the page and there should be a 'subscribe' button. I'll go back and check for you as well. But yes, I get a daily email.

And still haven't figured out what is happening. ggrrr. There is a whole Disney series I want that this is happening with. :confused:

They update their freebees everyday. I have the icon in my toolbar and when I have a few minutes i will bring it up. I have found a few blogs that have some nice freebees.
