Broken Thumbnail In PSE Organizer?

I just imported all my images into PSE 6 and some of the RAW image thumbnails are showing up as a gray broken image thumbnail and not an actual image thumbnail. I am not sure what that means or how to fix it. I can open the RAW image and edit it but the actual image thumbnail still doesn't appear. If this has been discussed before, sorry I can't seem to find anything or know of better search terms. Thanks for any info. GD

I found several threads discussing this using just thumbnail as my search term. i tried fixing/repairing the catalog function and also reconnect function under the file menu. both didn't help. i had clicked on update thumbnail, which didn't work either. finally i shut PSE 6 down and restarted it and clicked on update thumbnail and it finally worked. what a pain! i hope this was just an importing a large database issue and not something i will have to do each and every import of images from the camera. GD
