I'm trying to resize (both pixel dimensions and resolution) some large images to send by email. I'm trying to use "Save for Web" which seems to work great. I I can set my resolution for Low, Medium or Maximum then I can set my dimensions to about 600 X 450 and hit "Apply". The screens tells me this settings should size the file down to about 288K. I hit "OK" and "Save As" and pull it up again and it looks unchanged at over 5 Meg. What have I missed?
