The warp tool that's in the full version is totally awesome!
I would like that tool to be in Photoshop Elements!

I think that was new in the CS3 release of PS so I don't imagine Elements will see that anytime soon. Then again I could be wrong and would be delighted to be so.

I agree that the warp tool would be awesome. Also, I would like a button to create a layer mask.

Hi ...
.. and welcome to the Village :)
I doubt that Adobe will add these ... as they really need to keep somethings for Photoshop ..

That would be wonderful and I LOVE the warp tool as a designer but I'm afraid I agree with Wendy. It would be a nice surprise though.

Paintshop Pro Photo X2 (PSP) has a pretty cool warp tool. I modified an OOB that I did with PSE6, opened it in PSP (I thought it was cool that I can open up PSD files in PSP). I slightly warped the corners of the picture frame. Giving a wavy look.
PSP's warp tool is a warp grid (how is PS warp tool???). You move the grid points to warp your picture. Here are my two OBB pics for comparision.
So, if PSP can have a this type of warp feature, hopefully PSE can as well.

Johnny
PS is the same with the grid points.

So if the warp tool available in PSP is the same as PS, then maybe PSE will get it as well.

They only added it to Photoshop fairly recently so I doubt that Elements will get it :(

I just down loaded layer mask for free from graphicsoft.about.com for my PSE 6. It is easy to do, and I used it for my OOB 'creations'.
I am also looking for the warp tool to add to PSE.
Good luck.

It would be good, yes. Sometimes Elements will get tools from Photoshop after they've been around for a few cycles - Warp made its debut in CS2 which was 1 and a half versions ago. It has also been known for Elements to have them before, too. Photomerge technology, for instance; also the Magic Selection Brush later became Ps's Quick Selection, which in turn made its way back to PSE soon after.
One of Warp's most powerful features is when used in combination with Smart Objects, which Elements doesn't have (well, not in their proper form, anyway) so perhaps we will see it at some stage in its more basic form.
Maybe we should petition Adobe? :)
In the mean time, as Wendy says; there's the Shear Filter. For the adventurous, there is also Liquify which can produce pretty decent results with a little patience.

Hi!
I have Xara Xtreme, which is a great vector-based graphics program.
I recommend it very much, it's awesome!
Anyway, it has a Mould tool which acts very similar to the the warp tool.
Maybe you should check it out.
