Frames

Can someone tell me where i would put frames that i DL. I have PSE4 & CS3 for windows XP.

Hi Linda ...

You just keep the frames in a folder somewhere then open them and add them to your images :)

Wendy, I DL the frames but i cant figure out how to make them fit. They are a perfect square and my pictures arent. I looked in the tablet options & the more options and nothing! I cant control T them to transform it to fit. What should I do?

Hi Linda ...

You should be able to resize then using the move tool ... but if they are square then making then rectangular will probably look distorted :(

I cut and piece square frames. I take a section from in between the corners and piece it betwen the sides.

First I cut the frame in two - put each half on it's own layer - then I copy of section of the side - then I piece that between the cut layers.

This can work well - or it can be a disaster - it depends on the frame. ;)

And sometimes I "live" with the fact that when I distort the frame - the sides look different from the top/bottom.

Another way of using a frame that doesn't fit - cut it on the diagnal and put one half on the top left corner and one half on the bottom right corner. Your photo is not exactly "framed" that way - but it does look kinda cool.
